In this section, we will look at more examples of success in the music industry. Including how success can be related to another
person, the launch date of a record and more.
By doing this, we’ll get you used to thinking in terms of planetary symbolisms, which is like another language. Some effort is
required on your part for this, but once you learn this language you’ll never forget it.
Jack Antonoff
Prolific music producer Jack Antonoff, who is
known for working with Bleachers, Lorde, Sia
and Taylor Swift, is another example of
super fame in music.
In the heliocentric chart, he has what's called a
"mighty fortress" that is also reinforced in that it
comes with two conjunctions. The successful
(Jupiter) creativity (Neptune) conjunction teams
up with the energetic (Mars) power (Pluto)
conjunction to provide the engine for the
charismatic (Chiron) music (Mercury) career
(Chiron).
Seeing his music Magi Astrology, we think his
star has only begun its ascent.
In the geocentric chart, he has the Jupiter-
Uranus super fame combination, which points
to his Sun.
Antonoff is a person (Sun) of super fame
(Jupiter and Uranus).
Antonoff has a remarkable synchronisation
between Mercury, Chiron, Neptune, Pluto
and Mars. The aspects from Mars to Pluto
and Neptune are a little wide, but both
Mercury and Chiron aspect all the planets in
the synch: He's an energetic (Mars)
charismatic (Chiron), powerful (Pluto) and
creative (Neptune) musician (Mercury) who
is likely to enjoy a long-term (Neptune)
career (Chiron) in music.
In Antonoff's helio chart, there's also a factor that makes us "suspicious" - it's a tight conjunction between Venus and Pallas
that sits isolated by itself.
It represents beautiful (Venus) musical compositions (Pallas) - but in Magi Astrology, we don't worry about two-planet aspects
as they have been shown to "not really do much" by themselves.
There has to be another reason the universe put this conjunction in Antonoff's chart and we suspect it acts as a flower that
attracts connections with other musicians. Let's check this theory out.
Taylor Swift's Earth and Pallas both tie into this conjunction: Unit (Earth) of beautiful (Venus) musical compositions (Pallas
times two).
Lorde's Mercury, Juno and Chiron - which by itself means charismatic (Chiron) and seductive (Juno) singer (Mercury) - ties into
Antonoff's conjunction. We get: beautiful (Venus) musical compositions (Pallas) featuring a charismatic and seductive singer.
It seems our theory was right.
Shania Twain
To further illustrate how planetary symbolisms work with musician and the music business, we look at Shania Twain - the
best-selling female artist in country music history.
The square aspect that Shania has
between Neptune and Pallas also links
into Chiron and Mercury in a separate
synchronization. She has a long-term
(Neptune) career (Chiron) as a creative
(Neptune) and charismatic (Chiron) music
composer (Pallas) and singer (Mercury).
In Shania's helio chart we find the Jupiter-Uranus
aspect we have spoken about.
In her case it ties into Pluto, Neptune and Pallas.
The structure formed by these planetary aspects
is called an Invincible Fortress in Magi Astrology.
The conjunction formed by Uranus and Pluto is a
pure enhancement aspect, and we start with
this.
Power (Pluto) with the public (Uranus) and
success (Jupiter) in the field of composing
(Pallas) of creative music (Neptune).
This structure also holds the super success
combination of Jupiter-Pluto and the super fame
combination of Jupiter and Uranus.
Shania is a super creative (Jupiter-Neptune)
super famous (Jupiter-Uranus) and super
successful (Jupiter-Pluto) composer (Pallas) of
creative music (Neptune).
Finding the Key
Just as we can hear, in retrospect, how a musician has been searching within themselves for that perfect song for a long time,
we see cases where a musician's success bloom as they team up with the right person.
Steve Winwood and Higher Love
Winwood's Higher Love was released on 20 June 1986.
He's obviously onto something here, with the opening
of "Think about it, there must be higher love down in
the heart or hidden in the stars above..."
When I listen to this tune it feels like Steve has been
searching for this home run all his life and he really
knocked it out of the park.
This is supported by the astrology for the release date
of the tune, 20 June 1986.
Steve has a powerful musical composition yod formed
by the Sun, Pallas, Uranus and Chiron. Steve (Sun) has
a charismatic career (Chiron ) and fame (Uranus) in
musical compositions (Pallas).
When Higher Love was launched, this structure was
wonderfully aspected by the transiting planets, giving
us an energetic (Mars) and uplifting (Jupiter) song
(Mercury) that would be super successful (Jupiter and
Uranus) around the world (Uranus).
Of particular merit is that the transiting Jupiter and
Mercury form a grand trine with Steve's natal Chiron.
This translates as super charismatic (Jupiter and
Chiron) music (Mercury).
A special circumstance is found in the declinations where Steve's natal Sun is contraparallel the Jupiter/Chiron midpoint. Such as
structure often represents a "promise" that will be realised at some stage in life.
When Higher Love was launched, the transiting Saturn and Chiron were in contraparallel and aspecting Steve's Sun so that
Chiron was exactly parallel his Sun and Saturn was contra the natal Sun.
Normally, this would be a bad thing as the Saturn-Chiron clash energy represents heartbreak, but in this case, Steve's (Sun)
super charisma (Jupiter/Chiron) was realised by a song about heartbreak "things look so bad everywhere" (Saturn-Chiron clash) -
he is reaching out for a higher power (Jupiter/Chiron) in an act of musical prayer (Jupiter/Chiron).
Annie Lennox and Eurythmics
Annie Lennox provides us with an example of "finding the key". As experienced Magi Astrologers, we can often identify "an
empty spot" in a chart and we think "if something could only land there, then we'd see something amazing".
While Annie Lennox has a remarkable musical-success synchronisation in the geocentric astrology, there's one in the helio
astrology with "a hole" in it.
In the helio longitudes her Venus,
Mars, Vesta, Uranus, Chiron,
Neptune, and Pluto cover the
range from 25.3 degrees to 28.9
degrees, but due to the
mathematical constraints of Magi
Astrology aspect calculations,
Chiron is not fully in this structure.
The structure also holds t-square
energy, which can be frustrating.
However, the Jupiter/Chiron
midpoint " is conjunct Mars and
trine Pluto - and this symbolises
super career (Jupiter/Chiron) from
a transformative and powerful
(Pluto) man (Mars).
This man is, of course, David Stewart. In the
heliocentric astrology, his Pallas (musical
composer) creates a barrage of positive
aspects to Annie's synchronisation,
unlocking it. There are, of course, other
important interaspects behind the success
of the Eurythmics, but in this dimension, all
it took to unlock the massive promise of
Annie's planets was Pallas at 28.1 Pisces.
Note that the green lines, the trines, are pure
enhancement aspects. They represent fame
(Uranus) from beautiful (Venus) musical
compositions (Pallas).
Zodiac 7 - another dimension
By using the planetary symbolisms for Mercury, Neptune and Pallas we can always find the geometry that underpins the
success of a musician.
This geometry can be found in any of the six different realms. Apart from the traditional, rotational dimension of the
geocentric astrology we have the declinations, where aspects are also formed.
These declinational aspects are called parallels and contra-parallels and Magi Astrology has the methodology for
interpreting aspects and synchronizations also in this realm.
We then have the two similar dimensions in the heliocentric astrology, the rotational and the sine-curve latitudes.
Finally, we have the so-called Zodiac 7 dimension of Magi Astrology.
Detractors have criticized the Magi Society for drumming up the importance of this, saying "it's nothing new" and that it's
"just the 7th harmonic aspects".
Well, the Zodiac 7 realm is comprised of the 7th harmonic aspects, that's for sure, but what's "new" about it is the Magi
Astrology symbolisms for the planets work consistently here also.
The combination of the Zodiac 7 dimension in combination with the correct symbolism is what cuts it. Not having the
correct symbolisms is like trying to find a hotel in London with a New York map.
Teresa Teng - A Taiwanese Singing Superstar
The validity of the Zodiac 7 aspects becomes clear when we look at the astrology of Teresa Teng, who at one point was
named one of the top female singers in the world by Time magazine.
When we look at the standard geocentric
and helio dimensions, we see a few things
that excites us, such as the helio contra-
parallel of Mercury and Chiron, which
represents a charismatic (Chiron) voice
(Mercury) - and a synch in the declinations
that represents commercial (Ceres) friendly
and generous (Vesta) voice (Mercury).
But it's not until we inspect the Zodiac 7
dimensions that we get a Bingo.
In the geocentric Zodiac 7 chart she had a
synchronization of Mercury, Venus and
Neptune - which represents a beautiful,
graceful (Venus) sensitive and sensual
(Neptune) voice (Mercury).
In the same realm she also had an
astrotriangle created by Saturn, Pallas and
Uranus. This gives her control (Saturn) of
audiences (Uranus) through musical
compositions (Pallas).
When we inspect the the helio Zodiac 7 we
see the stamp of the super star.
She had a powerful and competitive (Pluto)
super career (Jupiter/Chiron midpoint) with
her elevated (Pluto) voice (Mercury).
Tash Sultana - An Australian Sequencing Star
Talented Melbourne musician Tash Sultana presents us with another great example of how the Zodiac 7 astrology works.
In the helio Zodiac 7 she has an astrotriangle created by
Mercury, Pallas, and Chiron. Remember, a closed triangle
like this generates more astrological power.
This triangle represents a charismatic career (Chiron) as a
sequencing (Pallas) singer and musician (Mercury).
NOT SHOWN: In the geo Zodiac 7 she has two
overlapping astrotriangles that both involve Chiron and
Vesta. This means a charismatic career (Chiron) derived
from the love of beauty and harmony (Vesta) with the
resulting popularity (Vesta).
The two planets that tie into this are Mercury and Venus.
They are too widely apart at 4.7 degrees to form a
conjunction. But they both form valid astrotriangles with
what we already have.
Most people would agree that "beauty overload" helps
make Tash a captivating musician - and here it's
explained by the stars: Beauty (Venus) and a charismatic
career derived from the love of beauty and harmony
with the resulting popularity.
Finally, with Mercury we get a musician with a
charismatic career derived from the love of beauty and
harmony with the resulting popularity.
The Flying Eagle
In addition, Tash has a powerful
synchronization in the heliocentric
standard zodiac.
This rare pattern is called a Flying Eagle
and it consists of two Mystical Triangles
working together. She can "soar" in the
area represented by the planets.
The structure is formed by Mercury,
Jupiter, Vesta and Sedna.
She's a friendly (Vesta) and successful
(Jupiter) musician (Mercury) who is
competitive (Sedna).
But because she is friendly (Vesta and
Jupiter) and selfless (Jupiter) and sharing
(Vesta), the Sedna energy does not
become domineering, but it's directed
towards Tash honing her own skills. She
plays more than 10 instruments.
